You're listening to the 10x your agency podcast where every Wednesday for the next 12 weeks you'll be learning strategies on how to scale up your agency and grow your client base from successful agency owners who've been there done it and built a highly successful agency you'll learn how they attract clients what their biggest causes of client earn were and what their challenges were at different stages for building their agency my name is Marcus Taylor and I'll be your host hey guys welcome to episode 3 of the 10x your agency podcast today I'm joined by Jonathan Dane who's the founder of client boost a PPC and conversion agency that Jonathan has grown to almost 250000 dollars in monthly recurring revenue in less than two years within their first year they did almost a million dollars in annual revenue so we're going to talk to Jonathan about how he's built up the agency quite so quickly some of his philosophies around using content to grow an agency as well as much much more so Jonathan is the huge pleasure having you here on the show you how you doing doing quite amazing and well thanks so much for having me how are you awesome my pleasure no really really good cool before we dive in I was just wondering if you can maybe explain a little bit about what it is that client boost does yeah so the names kind of awkward you know now thinking about it we were basically a PPC in landing page hybrid agency so we deal with the traffic acquisition card and the conversion part for our clients and most then make up around and the SAS industry or just lead gen as well with some ecommerce chander sprinkled in so that's that's basically what we do in a nutshell interesting and what was it that kind of made you go for that client PPC conversion combination I figured out really early after one of my clients in the past had an unbalanced accountant just said hey we're sending traffic to these landing pages and I started messing around with it and started seeing wow this is pretty cool and we hit our goals insanely fast as far as what we had laid out and I don't think that'd have been possible without the CRO aspect of that and so since then I kind of figured out that they have to go hand in hand and without it you know you can still get results of course one you know separated in silos but if you do it together and have it all within one team like we do having our account management squad in our in our CRO Design School all of our clients get to work together with one from each team you know with to work together and the goals basically so that from then I was like we have to have that yeah nice so I read somewhere that client boost reached a million dollars in annual revenue within its first year of business but just before we jumped on this interview recording you mentioned that you're now doing two hundred fifty thousand dollars per month it's a correct almost almost there so in the first year business we hit a run rate of a hundred thousand dollars in...
